Personal
I grew up in Aberdeen, SD. I am the youngest in my family, with three older brothers. I have been blessed with an amazing family that continues to have an impact on my life. My family is the foundation of who I am today and that's something I treasure day in and day out. My father and I have a strong connection over our love for history. In addition, I love to watch the Minnesota Vikings (I know that's hard to imagine). I also enjoy sports and the experiences that come with them. Being able to travel around the world is an experience I got to partake in. The educators I've had in my life showed me that being an educator is a humbling experience everyday. It's not about me, it's all about our students. These are the reasons that I wanted to pursue a degree in history/social studies education. I hope to be as impactful on my students as my family and educators have been on me.

Academics
I graduated from Roncalli Jr./Sr. High School in Aberdeen, SD in 2015. I took my talents to the University of Mary where I fell in love with the community the university had to offer. I've met some great friends along they way that continue to challenge me. Through my education I've met some amazing educators that have made me into the student and into the future educator that I hope to become. I couldn't be happier for what I've experienced so far and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
